Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Specialist (M/F)
This Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Specialist (HSEQ Specialist), being based in Lisbon, will be responsible for promoting and ensuring the health and safety of Portugal workers and subcontractors according to our full scope of Photovoltaic, Electrical Vehicle Chargers and Energy Efficiency projects. At the same time, this HSEQ Specialist, will integrate a global organization, and for that reason, his main mission will be to assure the compliance with the quality and environmental requirements and the continuous improvement processes, in order to satisfy all the global stakeholders of our Group and the legal compliance of the whole HSEQ process.

Responsibilities
Ensure the implementation in the local organization of the HSE Policies, Procedures and HSE documentary organization defined by Group;
Update and maintain the quality management system implemented;
Ensure the local Health & Safety, Environment and Quality legal compliance;
Monitoring of rules and other national and international applicable HSEQ normative procedures;
Participation on the Risk Assessment analysis for all the activities, development of HSEQ Plans, Preventive Instructions, Method Statements, Checklists and other specific local HSEQ documentation;
Development and implementation of the Emergency Plans;
Training of workers and subcontractors in the HSEQ Plans, Emergency Plans, Procedures, Inductions, Toolbox Tools, Emergency Drills and Awareness actions;
Conducting HSEQ monitoring of the site, with periodic visits to the workplaces; safety inspections and audits for Health & Safety, Environment & Quality matters;
Reporting Health & Safety, Environment and Quality KPI´s in a monthly basis;
Reporting immediately any accident or incident, developing further required investigations (if needed);
Representation towards official agencies in case of accident (environmental or safety);
Participation in HSEQ meetings, internal and external with Subcontractors, Suppliers and Clients (if needed);
Leading the operational HSEQ local Technicians, whether they are from Helexia or Subcontracted to external entities;
Search for continuous improvement through audits and monitoring of internal processes, ensuring the implementation and effectiveness of the action plans (corrective and preventive actions).
Qualification & Education
Technical level Graduation (Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment or Quality or related areas studies is a plus).
Skills
Training in Health and Safety at Work and/or Environment (in Audits and in First Aid will be a plus);
Pedagogical competence training will be valued;
Excellent knowledge of the law, regulations and norms of Health and Safety Work will be considered a plus;
Results and Customer Orientation profile;
High level of initiative and autonomy;
Ability for planning and organizing teams and activities;
Coordination and motivation abilities;
Excellent domain of verbal and written expression;
Adaptability, including cases of high complexity;
Ability to manage multiple projects and multiple customer relationships;
Excellent communication skills;First language Portuguese, mandatory fluency in English and good knowledge of Spanish will be appreciated.
